i badly want my own digital camera!
eversince my Fujifilm one died on me two years ago, i've been relying on my camera phone to snap pictures. which is super laggy! trust Nokia to give me this! imagine you had to snap say, a moving car. although i snap the cover in a blink of an eye, it takes 3sec for the camera to load. then when you finally take a picture, it has to properly adjust and finally snap for like another 3sec!! dumbass! the shutter is damn unresponsive lar!! by the time, the car will be gone.

i received my Charm Necklace from Studiofrost already! woohoo~ actually, the registered mail was sent to me last friday. but i was still sleeping lah. i woke up around 10am and i saw the registered letter in between my gates. =__=
it stated that i can only collect it on the next working day. so the next day is a saturday and the Post Office closes at 1pm on Sats. so i told my mum to get it for me since she's going to Johor in the morning. BUT THEN SHE FORGOT!!! T_T!!
i was super annoyed! eagerly waiting and she forgot! plus, the PO is closed on sundays so i had to wait until monday. mum collected for me this time. FINALLY!

last night, i was cleaning the tabletop in my room and i found old pictures from OBS! the pictures were taken by our instructor, Iskandar. he gave us the pictures for free. if i were given another chance to go OBS, i'd definitely take it! the experience it priceless.

the pictures above are taken at Frog Island. it's away from the main shores of Pulau Ubin, i think. the island is seriously small with bits of medium sized rocks surrounding it. it's prolly just the size of a soccer field? pretty squeezy when everybody pit-stopped at the island. i wonder why it's called an island when it's so small?
we took a break at Frog Island after hours of kayaking, the sea expedition in the camp. have i told you i successfully kayak-ed for 8 hours straight without complaining i'm tired? i'm still proud of myself to this day. i mean, i was tired but i wasn't whining like how i always do. OBS brought out a side of me i never knew i had! cliche, but true.
and then we drank gallons of water from the huge bottles we brought. ate our biscuits that we stored in the life jacket which was all drenched! but the biscuit, obviously wasn't soggy. the experience was WONDERFUL~
i love the sea expedition the most.

this two pictures were taken on the last day of our camp, when we're waiting to be dismissed. we received our certificates and bought souvenirs. it was so much fun and i didn't want it to end! and plus, look at how happy and healthy i look! my whole body was (very) tanned and fresh but now i'm just pale and slowly rotting. ]=
and i remembered the jetty jump we did. not all the watches was able to do that. thankfully we had the best instructor ever and he squeezed in time for us so we get to do it. we had to scream something before we jumped into the sea. i forgot what i screamed though.
i love OBS minus the 5minute bathing time we have and the heavy backpack we had to carry through the land expedition.
I WANNA GO OBS AGAIN!!
only those who attended and embraced each moment there can understand how it really felt like being in OBS. so those who don't, stfu and don't assume all camps are boring.
i heard it ain't cheap.
1000+$ to be able to join the camp for outsiders.

LOL. mum fetched me because we're heading for break fast with relatives at Simpang Bedok. gosh, the Roti John King there is seriously truly DROOLWORTHY!

she got me a black and white polka dotted top. it's nice! and yeah, i love going to the airport for the Times Bookshop and cute young pilots! muahahahaha! i used to frequent there alot when i was young. usually to pick sister up since she was a stewardess. but now, i only go to the airport if there's a need. but no worries, TP is only 15min away from the airport by bus! wahahaha, Popeye's again girls?! (((:
gosh, i love the mashed potato and scone (though i get tired chewing it) at Popeye's! super yummy! but the chicken cannot defeat Arnold's lah! in my opinion. ngehehehe.

these few days, been busy spring-cleaning the house preparing for Hari Raya. just last night, mum dad & i cleaned out the master bedroom's toilet and one side of my room. so much dustbunnies! my goodness. but thankfully, now i've got more space in my room and i'm planning to go Ikea soon to get some storage stuff for my shoes, books and bags! yays!
mum found a super old game deck (vintage version of playstation, gahaha) while cleaning out all the junk last night. i asked dad if it's still able to work. he said yes! i was elated until i realised the console itself is nowhere to be found. =___= cheat my feelings sia.
but the Super Mario game cartridge is still there.
i wanna play! just like in SIA plane! they have the Mario game and i remembered going kuku when i found out they have Super Mario. it was during the Thailand trip. gosh, i miss Thailand.
ANYHOO, i am gonna clean out the rest of my room later.

damn, i got uber high when FALL OUT BOY and GYM CLASS HEROES won Best Group and Best New Artist respectively!! i was rooting for them all the way. love them luh!
and i was predicting the winners (like as if you don't) all the way and yeah, i got it all right. i'm the pro, you see. *flicks hair*
WAHAHAHA. partly right, i did get all my predictions correct. but not because i'm pro, it was apparent! seriously. SERIOUSLY! it was so much fun lah. especially the Best New Artist nominations. when GymClassHeroes was announced, i went like "YEAH!! NO DOUBT!" and duh, they won. [=

so parents & i went over to relatives' place yesterday to break fast.
i bought burger Ramly at jurong west earlier but it wasn't satisfying at all! the taste just wasn't there. for one, the guy didn't cut the patty into half! (Ramly patties are supposed to be cut into half where all the sauce and whatnots are put inside) because he didn't cut open the patty and put the curry powder inside, there wasn't any bursting flavour Ramly burgers are supposed to have. and then, he didn't fold the egg properly! so the patty was like, drooping out of it. ]=
bad. i love the one at the pasar malams and Johor!

mum taught me how to operate the oven and when to put what and the rest is all on me! teehee. when i was stirring and all, i felt like..... my mum!
before that, i went down to the shops to get butter and stuff i need luh.
so cool, i went grocery shopping on my own.. haha.
oh and btw, the atmosphere when i was baking was superb lah! i was alone at home. sister off to Bangkok, mum work, dad work, brother won't be home till late. so i had the whole late morning/afternoon to myself. wooooots! i opened the door and windows, let sunshine pass through. natural light makes me hyperrrrr. blast 987fm on radio and there i was dancing and baking in the kitchen. no kidding! :DD

and then i prepared the frosting. no pictures though. i forgot about it. ]= well anyway, i divided the frosting mixture into two and coloured them chocolate and pink! there weren't enough for me to have other colours.

i actually ran out of frosting so the brown cupcake at the foreground doesn't have any frosting. i sub it with peanut butter and placed a piece of choco biscuit on top. gahahaha. lack resources lah. ((:
and i know some of them looks so darn flat. like i said, LACK RESOURCES! i had to pinch from others to fill up the gaps. lol. the recipe was for 25 cupcakes, but i cut down into half cos i was only making 12. turns out, not enoughhhhh. bleah.

-so i went for dance earlier this morning. it starts at 9am. my ass. so early. plus i only had 2hours of sleep last night!! couldn't go to lala land for God knows what reason.
anyhoo, waited for Christina at the Mushroom. headed for the dance studio. i miss it man! did it like, shrunk? started class 10mins late. Gin told us today that she's gonna start pushing us to prepare for next year's dance concert. OMFG, I AM SO EXCITED!! Christina literally went crazy after dance lesson. hiakhiakhiak.
today, we learnt Lyrical Hip Hop. probably gonna do this for the concert? idk. LHH isn't as easy it looks. i mean the moves were smooth and all but when you try to do the same, dang it just doesn't come out right. draaaag STOP. pop sweep pop draaaaag STOP. lollums. but i had fun. :D
yeah, so much fun and now my back aches, my neck hurts, my arms are floppy and my legs are weary. but nvm! i want toned arms. :D go away flabby arms! uglyugly!

run/friends; same dream for 4 nights.

i've had similar dreams for 4 nights now.
all my friends were involved. on the first night: ky, hy and sebas. on the second night: sebas, hy and eyecandy*. third night: eyecandy* only. fourth night, which is last night: zuraidah, nadd, muna, lin and some of my other acquaintances in sec school.
my first and last dream involved running.
the first, i was running during a PE lesson. i couldn't/didn't want to stop. last night, i dreamt of running again. this time, it was for the girls' soccer team. i wasn't part of soccer but i joined Aidah and some of my other friends in soccer for that day because the instructor was cute. he really was! so we were told to run 8 rounds on the stadium track. i groaned. but i joined the girls and i ran and ran and ran. i felt like it was only my 3rd round but when i asked, they said it was the final round. i wasn't tired. i was ready for more.
for a girl who hates running, it is quite impossible for me to feel that way.

results were VERY VERY bad.
C+ and D+'s.
i am not gonna be VERY dissappointed because i know i did well. for the last paper i mean. so why the C+s and D+s? i suspect my attendance brought my whole grading down. damn, MC didn't help. so next semester, I AM NOT GONNA TAKE AN MC EVENTHOUGH I AM HALF-DEAD. apparently, poly people doesn't care if i'm in a dying state. they still gave me bloody D grades.
yo, i know my semestral paper wasn't that bad okeh.
i had confidence! chicken &%^$&*$%*!
but i am permitted to cont in Sem 2!
sigh, i don't feel like i deserve it.
my results were terrible lah.

Ramadhan is here. so it's time for fastingggg. wake up at 430am for Sahur. endure through the day. turn on the radio at 630pm and anticipate for the Azan to go off so we can break fast. the routine for a whole month before Syawal arrives.
gosh, i don't know why, but i'm feeling it this year.
i am excited for the fasting month! the festive nights in Geylang, the bond in breaking fast together as a family, cleaning the house to prepare for Hari Raya, baking kuehs and cakes. and of course, Hari Raya itself! oooooh baby! :D

i had another dream last night.
about my friends again.
darlings; or what it used to be.
two nights about the same 3 people.
it is telling me something?
or was i just thinking too much? (i finally fell asleep at 330am, so i thought alot)
probably because i miss the old times.
maybe because i was feeling so lonely, that i had to sms Hy and Sebas. at like what, 230am? haha. sorry girls.

so i had this dream, where it was the four of us. and we spent a day/night together in a very nice looking "chalet". not really chalet, kinda like an open apartment. went out to shop, play and whatnots. i had a blue VW Beetle (the joy of dreaming) and was waiting for them 3 to arrive. and when they did, i drove all of us back to the apartment. we did our usual crapping, laughing and watching tv together. and somehow, my dream ended with me driving off and looking towards the outside of the building, smiling. just like that.
i know it doesn't make sense but, gosh i don't know what i'm saying. maybe two days of dreaming about the same 3 people who were so close in my life really freaked me out.
anyway, i'm not asking for the past back. because everything happens for a reason right? some are already truly happy with their lives and new friends, so i shouldn't bother trying to fix things back. it won't work. it could. but it won't be the same.
like, do you really treasure what you had?
or don't you ever care about this friendship?
