there's like, only one hour of BMic lecture at 8am (which i skipped) and an hour of HPI tutorial at 12pm. so all in all, i only attended school for an hour of useful time. waste transport money, i tell you! grrrr.

so for HPI, we just went through tutorial that's all.

anyway met Hy at the bookshop after.
bought the Portfolio. and then walked back to design sch with Hy and her friends. i'm really hanging around design sch alot nowadays thanks to Hy. not really interesting but got loads of things to see. earlier, we just went to the com lab. i researched on Commedia Dell'Arte (theatre project.. didn't get much info, though. ended up facebooking) while Hy and her groupmates did research.

then we all left. Mr.ASS (Hy's friend, Farhan. he called me ass cos i'm from ASc) walked to the bus stop with us too. don't want to be alone but EVERY 5 SEC SURELY HE GOT SEE SOMEONE HE KNOWS. =_= ROFL. aiyah, no comments. hahah. =_______="

reached interchange. i was reeeeeeally hungry cos i haven't eaten lunch (as a matter of fact, now also i haven't eat!), so i dragged Hy along cos i wanna get the FREAKING-YUMMY-YOU-CAN-DIE-AND-GO-STRAIGHT-TO-HEAVEN Oreo Chocolate Bubble Tea(:

butterflies... haha. see i haven't finish the flower on the plank where the books are supposed to be. i gave up and just let dad go ahead and fix the bookshelf up for me. andand, i used acrylic paint to do it. HARD TO PAINT ON WOOD! the colour spreaded away from my drawing line cos of the wood grains. grrr.

met Hy this morning, i was latee! sorry ah. =X
we intended to go City Hall cos Hy wanted to search for those 20$ skinny jeans at Penin. it was our first time there so quite lost. okok, VERY. it was actually Penin SC instead of Plaza. zzz! anyway, finally found lah. loads of shops selling them man! gawd, idk why i keep thinking banana banana when i see this shade of green and yellow. HAHAHA. the limegreen is pretty but still banana-ish. =/

i was looking for pastel/very light pink but DON'T HAVE leh.
after super many rounds, hy got her purple ones. then we decided to go back to one of the shops where the indian lady actually called out to us to come back. hahaha.


after a loooooooong stay in that shop, i decided to get the creme skinny. then we bargained for less. she gave us 1$ off. =_= so i finally succumbed and bought 2 pairs. a maroon + creme. 38$ for both. hy bought 2 pairs too! electric blue and grey. gosh, i love the shade of grey.

and btw, when i got home, the length was too short for both skinnies. it ends just below my ankle! greatness. probably will ask mum to try and unthread to make it a lil longer. it didn't seem so when i tried it on in the shop! =_=

today i had my first CDS lesson; UNDERSTANDING THEATRE.

GEN1008 Understanding Theatre
Understanding Theatre provides students with the basic knowledge and skills to understand the dramatic arts and its relevance to society and culture. It will cover topics such as the origins and purpose of theatre, the various forms of western and eastern theatre and the skills required of a performer. In addition, students will be introduced to theatre experiences as they create their own performance works individually and in groups.

it was muchmuchmuch better than expected! :DD

i made a new theatre friend before i even head for class. HELLO IVY! haha. cool yeah. and our tutor is Sonny Lim. he acted as Linda Liao's boss in the channel 5 drama After Hours (featuring Utt!!! =O). pretty cooooollllll. and and Rachel's in Theatre too! HI RACHEL! wahahaha. i didn't even know luh.

so Sonny taught us how to walk firmly and 'stay grounded'. and not to 'float' while walking. it was okay. then he made a makeshift stage entrance where we had to walk firly then stop in between the entrance and look confident, which was all about eye contact.

after which he paired us up to play roles and each of us had a line.
MY LINE! "(serious face) You know, you've always been my best friend."
"(shocked) ...blabla..."

every pair had to do that cos Sonny wanted to see how sincere we acted.
HAHA, so nervous. then so funny lar, saying "you're my bestfriend" to a stranger. lollums. then then then, waiting for the MRT scene. HAHA. everybody crossed their arms and looked at their watches. i can be pro at this scene i tell you! everyday wait for train! =__=!

and we also had to build a connection with the audience and by looking at them for a few secs to show sincerity when greeting. GOSH, I LEARNT SO MANY STUFF TODAY! though i wasn't that good at it but i'm learning, okay.

i miss Nadd, Muna and Lin!! or rather, missED. lunched at Engine sch((((: i hate the makcik. the westernfood makcik so much better! hmpf. Informatics and IT school had butterfly 'posters' pasted around our block. i took one off the ground and gave it to Nadd. nyahahahaha. it was nice luh the butterfly! :D

AHHH, THIS SEMESTER'S GONNA BE UBER STRESSFUL.
went throught Mst 2 topics and gonna be doing loads of statistics. i hate maths i hate maths i hate maths. then Cell Biology spells B-O-R-I-N-G. HPI? hmm, probably will be fun. or maybe it's just me today. was sleeeeepy and couldn't really take in what the lecturer was saying.

mum headed to MOE in the morning with my sister first, without me cos i didn't wanna wake up so early. she kept screaming at me but i don't want to get up. she wanted to leave home at 7.55am cos my sis can drive us there! i was like, can go ourselves later what! but she don't want, continue her screaming. =_= after she left, i felt guilty. bathed and got ready. decided to cab to Buona Vista and find her there myself. i know, so daring right. cos i never go MOE building before.

while trying to book a cab (it was raining!) i sat at the shelter just opposite my house. then i saw my sister drove past. i was like, ehhhhhhhhh? a few min later, my mum called. i picked up and she asked me where i was. she was already home. since i was angry with her, i lied to her saying i'm at CCK MRT station already just to make her feel guilty. HEH.

met her at bpp eventually for LJS breakfast. YUM!

after breakfast, she wanted to go back to MOE building to enquire some stuff. i tell you, it's such a pissing feeling to step into a building where people actually work to put us youngsters in HELL. like seriously?! =_=!

FACEBOOK IS THE SEXxXzXzxZ!

before i decided to join Facebook, i received numerous invites from my friends who already had signed up. i kept deleting the email cos i thought it'll be another lame social site (though i read about it in the straits times before) like friendster and myspace. but invites kept coming in my mailbox and i thought the only way to stop it, is to sign up myself. like the saying, "if you can't beat them, join them!" nyahahaha.

also, to feed my curiosity.

i signed up a few days back. and now i'm hooked! like SERIOUSLY! there's sooooo many applications you can choose and add to your profile! my fav is the ice-cream one. where i can send others ice-cream and others can send me one too! but both profiles needs to have the ice-cream application.

then there's LOADS more applications you can add! vampires, pirates, aquariums, gardens, pets, bumper stickers, slayers etc etc etc! i soooooo love it lah! i'm currently hooked on the bumper stickers. yes, i'm browsing loads now and sticking them to my profile! hehehe. SO FUN!

the only downside is it's quite complicated and confusing to alter and stuff..
but the applications are uber ultra fun.

so part of A7B5 met up for the iceskating outing yesterday.
namely; Fizz, Faiz, Mei Yee, Tingxuan, Gina, Alex Tan, AlexZz, Wess, Muna, Lin and myself. it's more like a cosy gathering than a CLASS outing, haha. met at JEC and they lunched at kopitiam? i wasn't hungry (but was very at the end of the day) so i didn't eat, just drank.

Fizz and Faiz finally arrived and we headed straight to Fuji Ice Palace! they were in the midst of resurfacing the ice. so it was cool lah! ice was super nice to skate on the moment we were done with tying our skates and all. although it was my second time, i still DARE NOT skate away from the sidelines. CANNOT! i scared.

but after awhile, i gathered enough couraged to go into the center of the rink a couple of times. but i still suck at iceskating lah. so slippery, so scary! it's fun if i can skate super gracefully without worrying about slipping. =_=!

then the skates are biting on my toes so it hurt when i skated. tsktsk.
but i still had fun though! (:

saw stuff i don't like to see! double A plus trying so hard to impress!

wahahaha.

was there from 2.30pm until 6pm. like WOAH, huh.
unlimited hours mah. Student's day; unlimited hours + free skate rentals.

so we headed to IMM. i showed the way since i'm the west side girl. finally i'm useful for once. hehs. looks like most of them haven't been to IMM before. WHY PEOPLE WHY!! IMM is so nice to walk aroundddd. hehe.

had Burger King. mushroom swiss + onion rings + ice lemon tea as usuaaaaaal(:
and TINGXUAN! ice + chilli sauce produces heat. you agree? HEHEHEHEHE.

then Muna, Lin and I left earlier than the rest cos Lin and I didn't want to miss Rahsia Perkahwinan's LAST EPI! nyahahaha. hope you all had fun at IMM yeahs. and oh yeah, i bought the portuguese tarts there. chocolate and original. YUMMAY!

so parents & i rushed home while the rest of my relatives head for more visits. 3 families were over at my place last night! 3 of my dad's siblings. meriah skejap. so it was already 10+pm when they decided to visit another one of my dad's brother. thanks ah eh.. so late then wanna go out. but still, i went. kecohkecoh at jurong, then go home lorrrrrr.

i had a very peculiar dream last night.
a very long one, but this particular scene stood out from the rest. thus, the interpretation above. it was somewhere along the beach with loads of different shops along the sea. like Clark Quay, except it's not. it was at night and i was with my long-gone ex, Shafian. don't ask me how what why. i don't know.

probably because i re-read the sms he sent me months ago. i wanted to delete but it was so sweet so i kept it in a folder together with other sweet smses from Fee. ok sorry, digressing.

i think the dream i had really meant alot. we were searching for one particular shop but had no luck. we went round and round and asking for directions. i realised i was late and needed to go but Shafian insisted we find the shop first, so i stayed with him. all along we were joking and laughing and i was flirting with him. it was so weird because i don't know and never did flirt before. i kept touching his arm and laughing and when i'm about to fall, (which i knew i wasn't going to) i grabbed his arm. it's significant because it reminded me of those times when i was with him.

anyway, we finally found the shop which was Sweet Talk, for bloody bubble's sake! and then, i entwined my fingers around his. WE HELD HANDS WHILE Q-ING. (i'm freaking out now because i can still feel the warmth in my hands!) he didn't flinch. i gave him a flirty smile (note: assume he was attached and my smile was a haha-your-gf-doesn't-know kinda smile). HE GAVE THE SAME SMILE BACK. we didn't talk at all. just smiling. then he tried to let go but as quickly as he loosen his grip, he grabbed my hand back. i laughed at him. he smiled back.

i squeezed his hand. he squeezed back and one final huge smile......
before i order my Oreo Chocolate. (:

i finished helping dad with the ketupats.
and i've packed all 6 different types of cookies for hui-yin and sebas darlings.
tonight, dad is gonna hang the curtains up.
and our lampu lap-lip is left with yellow. all the other colours are spoilt! =_=

y'know, celebrating hari raya is not only about meeting relatives, food and (for the moneyfaced) ALL THE GREEN PACKETS. but it's about forgiving all the sins that you've accumulated for the past year, forgiving everybody that you caused hurt to and starting afresh.

clean the house.
new outfits.
be a better person.
forgiving our parents.
thanking God for what we have today.

so it's a shame for those of you out there who gives a heck about celebrating Hari Raya. even for a day, appreciate the celebration. it may sound lame and whatnots but you do agree on this too, don't you? that Hari Raya is not just about celebrating nothing.

on a personal level, I AM SO EXCITED FOR HARI RAYA.
i like visiting people with my super hot baju kurung/kebaya and stumbling on my heels.
and i like to listen to the Takbir Raya on Raya Eve.
adds to the excitement. (((:

AND PLUS, ALL THIS EXCITEMENT REMINDS ME THAT I SHOULDN'T BE SELF-ABSORBED. thinking about myself 24/7. nah-uh.

this is the first baked batch. we shaped it to look like a three side curved triangle but after baking, i told mum: "they look like lychees instead! =__="

super hard laughter from mum.
so she used a heart-shaped cookie cutter for the next set of cookies.



it turned out better-looking STRAWBERRIES.



and in case you're wondering; no, it does not taste like strawberries.
it taste like almond cookies.

dad prepared it last night (cutting the leaves and taking out the hard part. whatnots) and the both of us weaved the ketupat together. and yes, contrary to popular belief, I CAN ANYAM (read: weave) KETUPAT OKAY!! can you?!

went out this morning with sister and mum to pay the deposit for our Bangkok trip this december. after paying, headed to Far East cos i wanna search for......

a earring/studs rack! now all my ear accessories are hung prettily and sitting by my tabletop. sweet, neat and lovely. though it's not full yet but it will be, eventually. my blue Ikea star accompanies it. hehehe.
