i think this is rather interesting and i have the need to blog about it. i'm sharing this with
all Poly students who are considering NUS after graduation. these articles are related to my screenshot above. come on, read read read!
NUS Admission Exercise Show of Arrogance and Belittling of Poly Grads. We Do Not Discriminate Against Poly Students, Says NUS.well, i have to agree with some comments.
the local universities are targeting too much on
'A' Level graduates, just because. there
are Poly students who are eligible yet they do not give us the same attention as they do with the A-level graduates. from the article, i can see quite clearly that they shun poly students during the open house.
i'm very sure Polys don't do that to ITE graduates.don't ppl know that Poly grads are better than A-level grads to some extent when they both enter universities? in the same course let's say, Poly grads know much more in terms of breadth of the modules and they have skills to go along with it. A-level grads have the depth of each subject but they are just like entering Yr 1 of Poly all over again.
in other words, having an
A-level cert is just a faster way to uni.
it's just 1 year faster. does not necessarily mean they're better.
Poly students can do it too!
measure a diploma and a mediocre A-level cert.
YOU tell me which is better.
i don't see why NUS is belittling Poly grads?
i'm a little annoyed to know. =/
comments?
