had a stupid convo with sister a few days back.

my mum was talking to my grandma LOUDLY (like dramatic mah).

me: *looks at sister* so loud!
sister: lower down the volume lah.
me: mama lah, not tv.
sister: yalah!
me: remote?

*aunt laughs uncontrollably*

and my sister & i kept a nonchalant face throughout the whole convo. hahaha. by the time my aunt finished laughing, my mum asked what happened. aunt told her the whole convo that just happened and mummy dearest went,

"so rude ah you all! my daughters like this ah?"

HAHAHA.
that was so funny....

woah, apparently our stupid convo didn't just end there.
earlier today, when my sister was driving me to school, we were talking about her guyfriend and whether i think he's handsome? and that he's the only guy who actually treats her like a girl!

i know right. *roll eyes*
hahahaha.

i entertained her and her teenager-like comments until she randomly asked,
"eh, you got bf uh?"

omg, that was unexpected.

me: where got!
sis: then you talk phone late at night?
me: why not?
sis: chatting late at night?
me: friend only what..
sis: ya lah, guy lah?
me: .......

sis: where did you meet him?
me: huhhhhh?
sis: have i seen him before? handsome?
me: *shakes head jokingly*
sis: not handsome?! ain... don't be like me. find a handsome bf..

sis: you're 18 already now, i don't mind... just don't do stupid things.
me: HAH.
sis: you don't wanna have a kid without a husband..
me: ......
sis: you want, is it?!
me: if i wanted i'd already have a kid NOW.
sis: you're 18 only what.

Say It Again - Marie Digby


a bunch of us met earlier at Bedok Interchange to get some of the minor stuff for BBQ(:
i came pretty early. try an hour earlier. didn't know the time was changed. -.- so i walked around the estate and bought myself a cup of bubble tea. then sat, ranted to hy & people-watch. Bedok don't have maaany nice people to see. no cuties/pretties. =/

saw Clairmond, Alex & Wess already at the interchange! joined them; i was the first girl ! lol. =] waited for the rest. once everybody was there, we headed to NTUC! grocery shopping was fun. hahassss. got everything we needed, paid and realised it was raining HEAVILY outside. dampened our moods a little.

waited for the rain to calm down then we boarded 196 to East Coast Park.
well not really, took the bus to Marine Parade then we walked all the way to ECP's Burger King. some of us ate lunch, played card games and whatnots. BBQ catering arrived shortly after so we collected them and walked all the way to our pit ! :D

helped arrange the foodstuff a little.
then i went to change and after that, hit the beeeeeach! nawwww, i didn't swim. i don't like seawater! sticky mans. we tried to sabo Alex and throw him in the water but it seems like his feet is rooted to the ground? he didn't fall luhhh! zzzz.

best part was when searching for charcoal.
there wasn't enough so four of us headed to nearest (very far) 7-11 but it was sold out! so i decided to accompany Mei Yee to search for them. the next nearest one would be at marine parade (very very very far) but Mei Yee with her rollerblades & me with a bicycle managed to find the shop. 9kg of charcoal back to ECP. CAN YOU IMAGINE?! across roads, underpass, up & down STEEP slopes, wet pathways ... and we were on wheels.

damn tired ahhhhh.
anyway, my thighs are aching now. lmao.

I THINK MEI YEE IS DAMN PRO WITH THE BLADES, MAN.
i. am. jealous. :( i can't even blade as fast as her luhhh! i'm like sooo slow on it. i can't even stop myself using the 'brake'. LOL.

then the sun sets and we started bbq-ing. EVEN THROUGH THE RAIN.
more people came. Ms Lee came. FUN LUHH. i'm not gonna mention abt the many underaged idiots who shared (or rather, did NOT share) the shelter we were in. not worth my time.

i've always been hopeful.
dreaming, fantasizing and HOPING things will come true.
there's this 5% chance i am counting on..

but until today, i saw a friend of mine's MSN personal message.

why do you still bother when he hardly cares about you?!

suddenly it hit me. (though idk who the PM is directing to.)
it's true, why do i even bother?
i'm not saying he doesn't care. i mean, he doesn't even know i exist la. no wait, he does know i exist but i'm just nothing to him. i can only see him from afar. that is, if i do see him.

so why am i still hoping? useless, isn't it?
it's been 7months.. eversince january. it's stupid, i kept telling myself that. it is really stupid for me to sit, look and wait. and then feel all pessimistic. i can't make a move. i just can't. i cannot face rejection.

i do have his number.
it's sitting stale in my hp contacts. but i can't do anything.
i. just. can't.

what should i do, tell me. give up or keep praying hard?

okay, it took me 15min.

i wanted to blog about Alex Tan in PIPC lab today!
we were doing titration (!!) and there's this part where you have to add the indicator so that you know when is the end point of the titration. our indicator today is supposed to turn from colourless to pink.

so Alex wanted to add indicator to his solution already. but it wasn't his turn lah. so i asked him: "why you add indicator now? not your turn yet right?" so he didn't add first. then awhile later, it was his turn to titrate. the lab tech was assessing him already luh.

i was doing my own titration then out of the corner of my eye, i saw him and the lab tech just standing there staring at his burette. i was puzzled, so i looked at it too. the NaOH from the burette was constantly adding into the solution in the conical flask but no pink colour came out.

and it was around the 20.0 ++ mark already when the end point should be around 12.0-13.5 ! the solution remained colourless. Alex plus the lab tech face was like really blur already lah.

alex: why like that sia?!
lab tech: *still staring*
me: how i know. haha.
alex: *laugh*
me: did you add the indicator?!
alex: OH YARRR AHHHHH!!!
me: *laughs out really loud*
lab tech: *stoned face* you will definitely fail ah..
alex: zuu lah! just now she....

and he continued to blame me cos i told him not to add it earlier. HEY! I JUST ASK WHY HE ADD SO EARLY WHAT. IT WAS HIS CHOICE WHETHER TO ADD IT EARLY OR NOT! and who ask him to forget? lol, man. he say he don't want trust me already..

FINE.

haha.
anyway, i couldn't stop laughing lah.
he forgot to add indicator still can stare at the solution. and still cannot figure out why.
