while driving, i coincidentally stopped beside Shafian, who is taking his bike practical. i showed my instructor and told him that i knew Shafian luh. he asked me which number? since the riders have numbers on them, i said 79. AND THIS ROCKING INSTRUCTOR OF MINE WIND DOWN THE WINDOW AND SHOUTED TO HIM,


ROFLXZX!!!!!!!!!! xD xD xD xD xD
then he closed the window and said to me,
"You heard that? I told him your driving first class."

HAHA! THAT INSTRUCTOR ROCKS MAN, I TELL YOUUUUUUU.

+ he passed me that 1 (presumably most difficult) subject in less than 30min, with only 5 tries!
+ he taught me the next subject and passed that too.
+ he brought me to 2 test routes.
+ the countless praisessssxzxzxzxzxzx!!!!!!!!!

tmr/wed - meeting up with silly boy for _____. waaaaait for it! heh heh.
thurs - leaving for A7B5 chalet! BBQ on same night.

fri - back from chalet.

as for today! went for practical.
i had a better instructor, thank goodness.
at least i don't feel so pressurised.

skip all the goody parts and let's go to the best part.

i was in the circuit turning right.
and the rule was that if you're turning right, all cars going straight or turning left have the priority over me. so i was to wait before i turn. at that point of time, i was behind a car who was also turning right. the car infront cleared the right turn, so what i did was checked blindspots and all and went ahead with the turn behind him.

i was also aware (repeat: AWARE) that there was a slow (repeat: SLOW) moving car going straight. he was still in a bend, quite far (repeat: QUITE FAR) from where i was and i knew that i'd clear the turn before that car crosses my path!

instructor: wait wait, stop! don't turn first!
me: huh? * steps on brake pedal* why?
ins: straight moving cars got priority over right turning ones right..
me: ohhh ya. okay..

i was already in the first lane of the opposite direction.
i thought he'd ask me to just go ahead! -_-
i pretended to forget that the straight moving car had the right of way.

ins: ok go ahead. wah, fierce ah you young girl!
me: hahahaha, sorry ah.

WALAO WEYYY, SORRY LA. =X
what? was i suppose to waaaaaaait for the slow straight moving car to finish crossing me before i make my right turn?!?! (yes) he was moving so slowly and it was still far lor!! (doesn't matter) i can possibly clear the right turn before he reaches me!! (only if you're a qualified driver!!)

i'm in the com lab now waiting for jap to start (i'm freaking hungry...) and i felt like i need to blog about this asap. yeah i know i'm so kancheong. hehehe. i had my test earlier this morning, 1145am. it was a 50min test but i don't understand why i did it so fast although i was damn scared. i really read every qn slowly! it took me 20min to do everything. =X

but of course i backtracked and rechecked every single qn again.
because i am damn nervous to press that damn 'End Test' button. huhuhu.
eventually i did and what greeted me put a wide smile on my heart. (not on my face or ppl would think i'm some kinda weirdooo.)

WEDNESDAY.
received CSAS paper. passed, but didn't do that well. urghhhh.
how am i gonna EVER improve my GPA???? =[

OC lab was finally interesting.
although it's still complex and i don't understand anything i'm doing. ahahaha. but yeah, we made Azo Dye. mixed stuff, heat it up, cooled it down, stirred, recrystallized and finally the product was some black powder. add that to NaOH and soaked a piece of cloth.

it's actually orange colour luh!
i brought the cloth home but decided to throw it after. LOL. you know i'm such an idiot for not taking a picture of it first. *smacks forehead*

after school, met up with Hy and Carmen (she's back from aussie!) and we headed to NP to surprise dear Sebas since it's her bday. before that, we searched for Ky first! blablabla.. we finally brought the mini cake to Sebas and we sang and alllllll. took pictures. it was nice for us to finally get together again. (((:

it's supposed to be my freeeeeee day but no thanks to PBL meeting for PLM, i gotta go sch at 2.30pm. HEY, I'M NOT COMPLAINING, 'KAY! anyway, PBL is troublesome. neeeeeeds alot of brainstorming.

there's like the FILA chart to complete. then next session would be Interview 1 and Peer Teaching. i'm most afraid of peer teaching. it'll be assessed and research will be on our own! creeeeeeepers. and then there'll be a 2nd interview and peer teaching abt a week after that. after all that, there's still a report, presentation & quiz to do! all from one complicated problem statement that's stretched for 1 month. omgxzx luhh, i don't know if i'm gonna do well for PBL, man. =/

i wonder how RP students can do all this in ONE day, EVERYDAY??

alright, i know. life has its challenges and although i complain alot, i am doing my best at it and not throwing it aside right???? because ultimately, i want to be able to graduate with hard-earned grades and not slacking grades.

Say It Again - Marie Digby


a bunch of us met earlier at Bedok Interchange to get some of the minor stuff for BBQ(:
i came pretty early. try an hour earlier. didn't know the time was changed. -.- so i walked around the estate and bought myself a cup of bubble tea. then sat, ranted to hy & people-watch. Bedok don't have maaany nice people to see. no cuties/pretties. =/

saw Clairmond, Alex & Wess already at the interchange! joined them; i was the first girl ! lol. =] waited for the rest. once everybody was there, we headed to NTUC! grocery shopping was fun. hahassss. got everything we needed, paid and realised it was raining HEAVILY outside. dampened our moods a little.

waited for the rain to calm down then we boarded 196 to East Coast Park.
well not really, took the bus to Marine Parade then we walked all the way to ECP's Burger King. some of us ate lunch, played card games and whatnots. BBQ catering arrived shortly after so we collected them and walked all the way to our pit ! :D

helped arrange the foodstuff a little.
then i went to change and after that, hit the beeeeeach! nawwww, i didn't swim. i don't like seawater! sticky mans. we tried to sabo Alex and throw him in the water but it seems like his feet is rooted to the ground? he didn't fall luhhh! zzzz.

best part was when searching for charcoal.
there wasn't enough so four of us headed to nearest (very far) 7-11 but it was sold out! so i decided to accompany Mei Yee to search for them. the next nearest one would be at marine parade (very very very far) but Mei Yee with her rollerblades & me with a bicycle managed to find the shop. 9kg of charcoal back to ECP. CAN YOU IMAGINE?! across roads, underpass, up & down STEEP slopes, wet pathways ... and we were on wheels.

damn tired ahhhhh.
anyway, my thighs are aching now. lmao.

I THINK MEI YEE IS DAMN PRO WITH THE BLADES, MAN.
i. am. jealous. :( i can't even blade as fast as her luhhh! i'm like sooo slow on it. i can't even stop myself using the 'brake'. LOL.

then the sun sets and we started bbq-ing. EVEN THROUGH THE RAIN.
more people came. Ms Lee came. FUN LUHH. i'm not gonna mention abt the many underaged idiots who shared (or rather, did NOT share) the shelter we were in. not worth my time.

FTL was grrreat. although there are manymany things to remember before we even start to drive (like gear must be at P when starting the engine), it's gets very interesting when you see all this actually working in a car. you know what i mean? uuuhh, yeah.

i guess all the instructors there are humourous by nature.
"if ur tester didn't wear his seatbelt, you turn to him & say: 'sir, you never die before ah?'"
"never let ur tester help you when you're driving on test. when he offers to help you turn off the wiper, what do you do? beat his hand!"
ROFLZ.

&&&& the malay guy seating beside me was sooooo fcking cocky i could've smacked his face left right up down center the moment he laughed ALOUD when the instructor was talking abt motorbike learners having to wear knee/elbow guard. like you were not in that position before, bdh. (he was carrying a helmet. qualified biker lah tuu. mat kentalanss!)

so instructor was asking, "what's the easiest way to turn off the wiper when you've reached your destination?" maklumlah, i'm only a first timer in driving all these la kannn. obviously, i don't know the answer luh. i'm patiently waiting for the instructor to tell the class the correct answer when si Mat Eksyen ni said to himself (loud enough for me to hear), "turn off the engine la!"

OC meeting was fine. i came at 4pm. cos i had FTL before that righttttttt. understandable hor. and i feel, i didn't contribute much, if not any. OC lehh, what can i contribute??? =.= and that Jian Hui guy is damn pro at it, there were question marks all over our faces when he was thinking through the synthetic routes aloud. ahahaha.

left school at 5pm.
