Say It Again - Marie Digby


a bunch of us met earlier at Bedok Interchange to get some of the minor stuff for BBQ(:
i came pretty early. try an hour earlier. didn't know the time was changed. -.- so i walked around the estate and bought myself a cup of bubble tea. then sat, ranted to hy & people-watch. Bedok don't have maaany nice people to see. no cuties/pretties. =/

saw Clairmond, Alex & Wess already at the interchange! joined them; i was the first girl ! lol. =] waited for the rest. once everybody was there, we headed to NTUC! grocery shopping was fun. hahassss. got everything we needed, paid and realised it was raining HEAVILY outside. dampened our moods a little.

waited for the rain to calm down then we boarded 196 to East Coast Park.
well not really, took the bus to Marine Parade then we walked all the way to ECP's Burger King. some of us ate lunch, played card games and whatnots. BBQ catering arrived shortly after so we collected them and walked all the way to our pit ! :D

helped arrange the foodstuff a little.
then i went to change and after that, hit the beeeeeach! nawwww, i didn't swim. i don't like seawater! sticky mans. we tried to sabo Alex and throw him in the water but it seems like his feet is rooted to the ground? he didn't fall luhhh! zzzz.

best part was when searching for charcoal.
there wasn't enough so four of us headed to nearest (very far) 7-11 but it was sold out! so i decided to accompany Mei Yee to search for them. the next nearest one would be at marine parade (very very very far) but Mei Yee with her rollerblades & me with a bicycle managed to find the shop. 9kg of charcoal back to ECP. CAN YOU IMAGINE?! across roads, underpass, up & down STEEP slopes, wet pathways ... and we were on wheels.

damn tired ahhhhh.
anyway, my thighs are aching now. lmao.

I THINK MEI YEE IS DAMN PRO WITH THE BLADES, MAN.
i. am. jealous. :( i can't even blade as fast as her luhhh! i'm like sooo slow on it. i can't even stop myself using the 'brake'. LOL.

then the sun sets and we started bbq-ing. EVEN THROUGH THE RAIN.
more people came. Ms Lee came. FUN LUHH. i'm not gonna mention abt the many underaged idiots who shared (or rather, did NOT share) the shelter we were in. not worth my time.

BUT YDAY WAS SUCH A FUN DAY WITH DARLINGS! :D

objective: celebrate hy's bdaaaaaaay!

i went over to clark quay with sebas via 190.

DIGRESSING!!!! i figured out how to go home from OSchool already! 190 from outside Chijmes. FANTABULOUS! i've always taken 700 to Oschool, which is ber-lah-dee convenient cos the bus-stop is right outside Oschool building, then mrt-ed back home. but MRT is soooo mafan! can take 190 home from now on! how great is that! HAHAHA:D

we reached first cos hy's from school.
sebas brought me to Settler's Cafe first. the concept was playing games while having brunch, lunch, dinner, supper, whatever. IT IS A FAB PLACE TO CHILL! i love. we must go there again, dears!

hy arrived at around 130pm.
played looooooads of games. and i think we troubled the staff there quite alot. cos for every game we played, we asked to recommed another after just one round. ahahahaha. =X that's the best way to make use of the staff, no? HEHH.



that's sebas looking at the package menu & one of the balancing games we played! that game was funny luh especially when it toppled. though i don't really uds the aim of it. LOL. we got hungry after awhile so we ordered fooooooooood!

Fish & Chips.
Peppered Fries.
Beef Lasagne.
YUMMM.

their service there is pretty good.
i can say they're all patient because we found out the hard way.
"press the bell. JUST PRESS THE BELL!"
i think after our visit, they'd decided placing the bell isn't a good idea after all. nyahahahaha.

the last game we played - Ticket to Ride Europe (??) - ROCKS MY MISSING SOCKS OFF!!! because i owned. hee hee. LOLOL! ok fine, the girls thought it was fun too, rightttttttttt? hee. i like that game! though it's quite complicated but we got the hang of it pretty easilyyy. and we don't have to use much of our brain to play. ahahahahahaha. =X

and i wanna thank the (cute -according to hy & sebas) guy who helped us calculate our points for the game with a calculator (!!) and playing along with our craps. hahah. he's pretty funny too! (to sebas) "how can you be happy when you're the last?" HAHAH!

he gave us a 5% off on top of a membership 10% discount.
it's not possible actually but he was a very nice guy!
even gave hy a snapshot of the 3 of us on the spot since it's her bdaaaay.

goodguy. he'll be blessed. lol.

we (finally) left the place at 5pm.
walked around Central then headed out to Clark Quay by the river. we decided to WALK. so we did - from Clark Quay to Boat Quay to Raffles Place to City Hall. we are pro-walkers now:D it sounds pretty far but Singapore is small luh. and none of us complained we were tired? RIGHT? how can you be tired with your bffs around??????

by the time we reach City Hall, it was say - 630pm?
had Pastamania for dinner at Funan.
Al Funghi, mama miaaa! i like.
except for the mushrooms. i'd prefer button mushs.

oh btw, loads of male foreigners at Peninsula! =O like how alot of maids hangout at Lucky Plaza on Sun. like Penin on weekend nights are like male versions of Lucky Plaza on Sundays. if you get what i meeeean? nvm.

BUGIS after dinner!
we walked, no less. i told you, we're pro-walkers already.
dived head first into Bugis Street.

search for something to buy tgt aaaaaand we decided on ankle bands.

we headed home after that!
reached home approx at 1030pm.
sister was bugging for her foooood. =.=

oh btw, we gave hy the Zac Efron book she wanted badly !
and hy & i gave sebas her advanced bday present, a black Zinc backpack!
yay, now all of us have backpacks(:

Music's ON: How To Save A Life - The Fray

we had HAP lab session today!
everybody had their labcoats on, suuuuper cool-looking luh all of us!

practical for 3 hours.
frankly, it didn't felt like 3 hours to me.
time flies when you're having fun. lol.

we had assessment after the practical.
i forgot the difference between HYPERTONIC and HYPOTONIC. wtf, haha. and what simple epithelia thing? I DUNNO LAH, I DUNNO LAHHHHH! stratified squamous epithelium correct?! ok, whateverrrrr.

i hate it when i don't understand something!

after lab session, the whole of B5 wanted to head to Flavours for lunch together. Nad, Lin, Muna & I rushed to the foodcourt to find a stretch of tables for the whole of our class. then after some HOO-HAA, not enough space. LOL~

A7B5 in the same foodcourt but separated.

Alex Tan, AlexZz, Fareed, Faiz, Wess, Muna, Nad, Lin and myself headed to the library to book a project room after lunch. but all the rooms were booked. what the fishhhhh. so we headed to Lvl 7 anyway. and found a corner to do our tutorials. did maths & stats. LECTURER Alex Tan taught us girls. huahuahuaaaaa. goodgood. at least i understand. (:

then everybody left early except Nad, Lin, Alex Tan & meeeeee. we did OC and Biochem together. laugh alot luh! we weren't even concentrating. one question, then we talk aboout DNT. another question then we talked about PETROL. no link, no link! ahahahaha. we kept straying away from the main point. FUNNY man. laugh & laugh & laugh. but we managed to finish the tutorials.
