BUT YDAY WAS SUCH A FUN DAY WITH DARLINGS! :D

objective: celebrate hy's bdaaaaaaay!

i went over to clark quay with sebas via 190.

DIGRESSING!!!! i figured out how to go home from OSchool already! 190 from outside Chijmes. FANTABULOUS! i've always taken 700 to Oschool, which is ber-lah-dee convenient cos the bus-stop is right outside Oschool building, then mrt-ed back home. but MRT is soooo mafan! can take 190 home from now on! how great is that! HAHAHA:D

we reached first cos hy's from school.
sebas brought me to Settler's Cafe first. the concept was playing games while having brunch, lunch, dinner, supper, whatever. IT IS A FAB PLACE TO CHILL! i love. we must go there again, dears!

hy arrived at around 130pm.
played looooooads of games. and i think we troubled the staff there quite alot. cos for every game we played, we asked to recommed another after just one round. ahahahaha. =X that's the best way to make use of the staff, no? HEHH.



that's sebas looking at the package menu & one of the balancing games we played! that game was funny luh especially when it toppled. though i don't really uds the aim of it. LOL. we got hungry after awhile so we ordered fooooooooood!

Fish & Chips.
Peppered Fries.
Beef Lasagne.
YUMMM.

their service there is pretty good.
i can say they're all patient because we found out the hard way.
"press the bell. JUST PRESS THE BELL!"
i think after our visit, they'd decided placing the bell isn't a good idea after all. nyahahahaha.

the last game we played - Ticket to Ride Europe (??) - ROCKS MY MISSING SOCKS OFF!!! because i owned. hee hee. LOLOL! ok fine, the girls thought it was fun too, rightttttttttt? hee. i like that game! though it's quite complicated but we got the hang of it pretty easilyyy. and we don't have to use much of our brain to play. ahahahahahaha. =X

and i wanna thank the (cute -according to hy & sebas) guy who helped us calculate our points for the game with a calculator (!!) and playing along with our craps. hahah. he's pretty funny too! (to sebas) "how can you be happy when you're the last?" HAHAH!

he gave us a 5% off on top of a membership 10% discount.
it's not possible actually but he was a very nice guy!
even gave hy a snapshot of the 3 of us on the spot since it's her bdaaaay.

goodguy. he'll be blessed. lol.

we (finally) left the place at 5pm.
walked around Central then headed out to Clark Quay by the river. we decided to WALK. so we did - from Clark Quay to Boat Quay to Raffles Place to City Hall. we are pro-walkers now:D it sounds pretty far but Singapore is small luh. and none of us complained we were tired? RIGHT? how can you be tired with your bffs around??????

by the time we reach City Hall, it was say - 630pm?
had Pastamania for dinner at Funan.
Al Funghi, mama miaaa! i like.
except for the mushrooms. i'd prefer button mushs.

oh btw, loads of male foreigners at Peninsula! =O like how alot of maids hangout at Lucky Plaza on Sun. like Penin on weekend nights are like male versions of Lucky Plaza on Sundays. if you get what i meeeean? nvm.

we walked, no less. i told you, we're pro-walkers already.
dived head first into Bugis Street.

search for something to buy tgt aaaaaand we decided on ankle bands.

we headed home after that!
reached home approx at 1030pm.
sister was bugging for her foooood. =.=

oh btw, we gave hy the Zac Efron book she wanted badly !
and hy & i gave sebas her advanced bday present, a black Zinc backpack!

i can finally sleep on my mrt ride back home. no more revising notes and people reading them over my shoulders. -.- just now was so syiok, can. slept from tanah merah all the way to buona vista. didn't even flinch. result? a happy mood and neck cramp. ouchhh. the rest of the journey - from jurong east to jelapang lrt - was kinda dull. i can feel my face stoning. =_="

what's left are CSAS presentation, jap presentation, fpath tutorial quiz and wiki. 4 more to go before preparation for term tests. GANBATTE! (:

anyhoooots like my title suggests, the shades arrived in my mailbox today! :D mum was the one who cleared the letterbox and then she called out to me from the living room, "ainnnn! i got surprise for you! you wanna see my surprise or not...?!"

DANCE at OSchool this sat, 9am.
anxious + dreading + excited at the same time. anxious cos it's Gin's warm up and that means CRAMPS. dreading cos i don't want to feel like how i always do during dance lessons. i'm hoping it went away after the little experience i've got in the last few months. plus, i don't feel like seeing him-with-the-electrifying-eyes now. i feel insignificant. =[ excited cos i finally get to dance again! a chance for me to improve. (:

went out at 6pm for dad's VERY belated birthday dinner.
brother fetched his GF who's joining us too. so it's sister&hubby, bro&gf, mum&dad and me. i felt like a baby. serious.

anyway, we had buffet dinner at Siam Kitchen. i still have a bad sore throat and slight cough. sucks, man. after that, mum wanted to go courts to pay the loan. i was browsing through the gaming section when i saw..........

no prizes for guessing what i did next!
I BOUGHT IT! with the 500$ daddy gave me. (he got his cpf this year, you see. so i decided to spent 100$ and keep the rest in my own POSB account. the acc which i'm holding the NETS card. weeeeewtz!) so yup. it only cost 35$ luh. it's with sis now. my PSP, charger AND my Sims game - all she rampas (read: snatch)! grrr.

so anyway, what's left with the 100$, i decided to get AVRIL LAVIGNE's album! woooohoooo~ and with the rest of the 100$, i'm gonna get that Topshop black babydoll tube which only cost 23$. and then the rest of the money (which isn't really much) i'm gonna spend it on whatnots. yippeeedooooooooooooo~~

after all that, we headed homeee.
oh yeah, HIGHLIGHT: my brother doesn't act differently infront of his darling than when he acts infront of his own family. you would think he's nicer and more gentlemanly infront of his gf, but no! he acts totally like when he's at home. in the sense that, HE FARTED IN THE CAR BESIDE KAK IQA! (hey, that rhymes.)

currently i have mild fever, headache & a very bad sore throat.
nice.

okaaaaaay, update on my overnight at TP first alright.
headed to school at 5pm. assembled at LT 7 as usual.
did some briefing and whatnots.
gave out the Applied Science pirate-themed black tee.

were told to change and yadiyadiya.
then we were brought to the TCC-Temasek Convention Centre and did some cheering. stayed there for quite some time. around 6plus till it got dark. then we were brought down to the campfire site. played a few games, cheered like craaaaazy. then we had buffet dinner by the campfire. ((: food was superb. at least better than any other camp food. yumyum.

after dinner, we got back into our ships a.k.a "clans" and did more cheering and played games. then we all did the TP Mass Dance surrounding the campfire. it was tres hilarious and fun! then we did the chicky dance. it was MADNESS luh this one. everyone just grabbed each other's shoulders and ran like mad forwards and backwards. i felt like my arm was breaking. =.=

the best part, once when we ran backwards holding on to each other, Lin, Nadiah, Muna and myself fell flat on the ground! we thought the whole of our row fell too but no! it was only FOUR of us! so paiseh can! LMAO. nice one luh. yup, then we just go crazy around the campfire. we were all so shagged after the running but the OLs made us do the TP MD and the chicky dance once again. super crazy.

after the campfire, we heaed back to the TCC for a briefing on GOLD RUSH - another game we'd be playing. we slacked around the TCC for a long while, enjoying the aircon most of the time. it was around 11+pm i think, when one of the lecturers briefed us on Gold Rush. the point of the game is to search for 5 stations throughout the campus and complete the games at each station so that we can collect the gold coins.

-

am not gonna go into details about the stations but my fav was the pingpong in flour one. we were supposed to blow the pingpongs out of the container full of flour. my group violated the rules alot but we didn't care. haha. we ended up finishing first. and we "helped" the station master to arrange the pingpongs back; so we buried the balls. so deep that we can't even tell there are pingpongs in there. hahaha.

that station was nice, we laughed a hell lot.
managed to get all 5 gold coins and then we headed to front of the library for a snack.
they gave us chocolates!

it was around 4+am then, when a surprise came.
the OLs came to our table and they were holding the small plastic bag full of brown stuff. IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD. then when they poured the contents of the bag on a plate, IT WAS FULL OF LIVE MEALWORMS mixed with brown rice. all squirming and wriggling around! gross! they dared us to seperate the mealworms from the rice and it was super scary i tell ya! i saw the guys did it and it didn't look so bad. so i picked up the BIG worm and put it in another plate. HURRAH! i did it man! hiakhiakhiak!

then i took another 3 small worms and then done, i wouldn't want to touch it again.
hahaha.

after that hoohaa, we headed back to the TCC where we slacked among our classmates. the OLs didn't arrange anything so we played among ourselves and just chatted and stuff. then when the sun was about the rise, probably 7am in the morn, we were brought back to the LT where we usually assemble. they gave us time for a short power nap before the debriefing at 830am. i slept, i dreamt, i woke up half-dead. then we had breakfast. puffs and a hot cup of milo gave me a little energy. they debriefed us and we were let off at 915am - 45min early.

came home at around 12. napped at 2pm and i snooozed till 6pm.
veryvery tired.

-

the last day of orientation was yesterday.
first half of day was great but the next half for me was just terrible.

TPSU gave all freshmen tees. Applied Science tee was green. not any green but LIME GREEN. bright bright pretty green. hehe. then we all got changed. we had talks at the TCC and the OLs did a skit for us.
blahblahblah.

my whole class was selected for the Amoeba telematch game to represent AS school cos we won during the inter-class games on the first day of orientation. so yup. all the freshmen from all schools assembled at the stadium.

fast forward.

telematch competitions started off with the Sarong Party a.k.a Amoeba game. which meant we went first. Engineering got first place while AS got second. wewtz! if the guys at the back didn't trip, we were sure to get first place lor! ENG and AS was like, 1mm close. serious sey!

then the skiing game - AS first.
then the moonball challenge - AS first.
then the krazy katerpillar game - AS first.
ain't sure about save the bomb one though.

haha, we rock.

after the game, i started feeling unwell.
headache man. the loud cheering didn't help though. actually i already started feeling feverish during the competition briefing. maybe when i was playing the game that it got worse. the sun was freaking hot whaat. sheez.

after the telematches, we headed to Bedok Reservoir for the TP Regatta.
dragonboating challenge. ok i am clueless on who won what because when they all stand, i just sat. my headache was killing me and i already had a fever then. so i sat all the way. when i felt a little ok then i stood once in a while. yeah, what a waste, i could've been screaming like a maniac but i sat down sick and miserable instead. :(

oh well.

after a painful (for me) long while, we headed back to the campus and i was really in a grouchy state. i couldn't wait to go home. it was 630pm when we got back to campus. i tried to stay cheerful for my friends but i am aware of my fake smile plastered on my steamed face. gosh. when we FINALLY got to the LT, they gave out our matric cards and timetable.

it was 830pm when it all ended.
mum and dad fetched me, thank God!

by the time i'm home, i had a bad fever and splitting headache.
dad gave me panadol extras and i snoozed to lala land.

woke up this morn feeling better except for my throat.
i can't even talk. :(

okay, been a lengthy entry.
sorry can't be bothered to make it fun-sounding lah.
too sick.

but i swear this is the best orientation i've ever been to.
i clicked with friends fast, food was extremely good, OLs was fantastic, schedule for everything was perfectly planned out, sufficient time for eating and everything was great. i didn't feel bored (except for the waiting) at all!

ANYSHIZ, i shall update on my Applied Science orientation yesterday.
i emphasize applied science because orientation isn't he whole poly together. so yup.

went to school with HY. we left the lrt station at 620am. and we travelled all the way until TP and it's like only around 740am? morning trains are faster than afternoon ones, i guess. then we saw Chee Wee from 4E2. and he going to the same course as hy!! so hy got company and i don't... sadness.

anyway, i went over to the LT myself. =(
sat beside a girl in my class then another girl sat beside me. AZLINA's her name. yaaay, cool. us and two other girls, Muna and Nadiah. yup. so anyway, had two talks and it's sooooooo boring. =.=

then the Orientation Leaders briefed us. biomedical science classes A7B5 until A7B9 is in one ship called BLACK PEARL. (remember the pirate themed letter?) apparently it's from POTC. our Black Pearl ship captain is none other than...... CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW. haha, he look freakingly familiar. anyway, our competitor is DAUNTLESS made up of Chemical Engineering people (i think). our Vice-Captain said Dauntless has BIG BIG GUYS who "once they shout, can blow away a few girls". ROFL~~

andandand our sister-ship is Interceptor, who's actually the other half of Biomedical Science classes (A7B1 until A7B4). it's fun luh how they group us. haha. and our OLs are 'First Mates' and our Care Person is our 'Navigators'. forfeit is called 'Walk The Planks'. and... too many to mention.

we headed to the stadium to have our lunch.
after lunch, we headed to the Sports Hall for TP Mass Dance! i like the routine. easy to remember and no boy's hand contact with girl's hip unlike MI's Mass Dance. lmao. but there was lesser boys in my class so i paired with Muna. hehs. after the TP MD we did the Chicky Dance. you guys should know this one.

then we had telematches at the tracks/field! it's all about teamwork and coordination. my favourite was Save The Bomb where we had to use towels and throw the water bomb from one pair to the other and the 'goal' was into the bucket our Care Person will be holding. so damn funny luh. our class won for this game obviously. and the Amoeba game too. we rock. hahaha.

it kept raining and sun-ing and raining again throughout our games.
sheeeez.

we kept cheering on and on though. the guys kept doing the 'L is for LEPAK ONE CORNER' cheer. =.=
it was pretty lame. and they kept shouting, "(insert class name)! JANGAN TENSIONNNN.." (read: don't tension) funny at first, irritating after that. T.T

i seem to blank out on what happened next....
so i shall FF to the LT. yup, we went to the LT back, learned the 'Go Temasek Go' song in sign language. literally. and then briefing on today. then we're dismissed.

mum fetched me and we had dinner.

i'll be going out later at 3pm.
orientation starts at 5pm later until 10am tmr. and we won't be sleeping! activities through the night. was planning to catch up on some more sleep but....

time check: 1:12pm

don't think i can make it. LOL.
so yeah, i better go get my things ready and order macDELIVERY now.

i'm very pleased with today besides the fact that i had to go for the BLOODY MEDICAL CHECKUP. fyi, i hate doctors okay. they scare me. i hate visiting clinics and facing the doctors and i always have a nasty thought of them diagnosing me with some deadly illness. i hate that, i hate that, i hate doctors!! ok enough. oh yeah, i'm afraid of policemen too. shut up, okay.

Artificial Boyfriend (A*B) accompanied me today. ((:
i shall and must not name who due to some nosey nonyas who will make a major fuss about it. blardy people. once i get my password script, i won't have to hide anything already. fan-bloody-tastic. x) anyway, A*B is noone new ok. he was my SnogKing aka SK. ok big fat hint already.

i'm such a big digresser.
back to todaay! woke up freaking late. A*B called me at 830am. the time we're supposed to meet. and i just woke up! HAHAHA. i am so terrible can? eventually, i met him before 9am at least. YES, I BATHED.

headed to Jurong East because that's where i'm going for my medical checkup and X-ray and all that shiz. went up to the fourth floor where SATA is. so packed!! anyway, i took a q number and it was 178 while they are serving 143.

so A*B and i headed to jurong entertainment first for breeeeakfast! we had LJS. yumyumyummmmy! hehe. then we headed back to SATA. it was 161 only. =.= but there were seats so we happily rest our arses. hehe.

btw, this is my first time going for an x-ray at SATA. and all these check up stuff is completely new to me. other than the OBS one which i did at a private clinic. so much more easier.

ok back.
i got really excited plus scared. haha. my number came and i did what i had to at the counter. then i asked for Express Service cos i want the report by today. top-up $20 okay! i tell you, these govt clinics cheat people money one lor. zzzzzzzz! total bill came up to $41.

anyway, it's worth it lar. cos i practically zoom from one room to another while other people miserably sit and stare at the screen waiting for their turn and their number to blink. ehehehe. the woman at the counter gave me a cup for urine sample. so ok.

right after then counter, i called A*B over to the other side of the clinic where all the consultation and shiz is going on. I HAVEN'T EVEN SIT & THE FREAKING SCREEN IS ALREADY BLINKING MY EXPRESS NUMBER 8. hahaha. i feel like a princess! so i went to the indicated room, took my ht&wt, read the colourblind numbers and checked my eyes. then the nurse so funny lor! she whispered to me, "are you having your menses?" WHILE THERE WAS A YOUNG CHINESE BOY DIRECTLY BEHIND HER. what's the point of whispering tell me?! =.=

so i said "NO. haha." and went to take my urine sample.

& I CANNOT PEE ON CUE FOR NUTS CAN?!
she told me, "not too much ah. a little only." and she proceeded to show me the measurement. & my pee is not even HALF of what the woman pointed out to me! LOL. i couldn't care any lesser so i just left the cup at the tray. wtf, they can't force me to pee when i really got nothing in my bladder right?! then i joined A*B who is happily playing my PSP which i brought specially for him. lol. 5min later... "ZURAIIN MOHD YATIM!" it was me again. LOL. this time, the same nurse gave me some sort of letter and told me to wait for my number.

and yes, you got that right. before i even start to relax a little, BLINKBLINKBLINK goes my queue number 8 on the screen. i'm like, WHAT THE FUCK?! WHY SO FAST?! hahaha. so i went to the consultation room where they checked my blood pressure, my pulse rate and they told me to unzip my pants. =(

the doctor patted my uterus area. DAMN YOU DOCTORS! IT'S ALWAYS WHEN I WASN'T WEARING ANY PRETTY KNICKERS THAT YOU DECIDE TO MAKE ME STRIP! i was wearing a pretty pink flower glitter-ish knickers yesterday but noooooo, you decide to see my ugly brown one. freak. =.=

anyway, i was so nervous after that, i actually tripped at the foot of the door when i'm about to head out. ahahaha. i must have looked so stupid luh! =PPP

then i was told to go for the X-Ray. yes, my first time. hehe. stripped my top off. wore the smelly purple gown! my goodness. BREATHE INNNN....HOLD....OKAY, BREATHE OUT.....X-RAY TAKEN. lols. i was so nervous luh! my goodness. don't ask why.

then we had 1hour before the report will be ready so i went to the library with A*B and came back an hour later to collect my report.

my checkup is the highlight of the day SO i'm gonna skim through the rest of the day, yeah?

we decided to go Causeway to catch a movie. waited for Sebas. A*B had lunch while i played my PSP. then we walked around Causeway. & flirt with each other. (HAHA, A*B. HAHA.) when Sebas finally reach, we bought tickets for Mr. Bean's Holiday! damn hilarious show luh. weeeee. recommended. but tell me, who doesn't love Mr Bean? heh heh. then after movie, we head off.

Sebas gave me an OP tee as present for my bday. ehehehe. nice!

mum fetched me at Segar. then we fetched sister then go Arnold's for dinner. then home! ehehehe. i very lazy to blog now luh.
